MODES OF USE
The IPORT CONNECT Platform is built around four distinct modes of use—Dock, Station, Mount, and Mobile—each designed to match how iPad and iPhone are actually used in the real world.
We designed our own interfaces to allow for wireless docking, stationing and easy transition to mobile. In all of these scenarios we cover and protect the iOS devices' lightning or USB-C receptacle, virtually eliminating damage to one of the most commonly broken part of an iOS device.
The modular framework makes it easy to choose the right setup for your environment today, while giving you the flexibility to evolve and expand over time. DOCK
Rest. Recharge
Dock Mode is designed for rest and recharge— just drop the case onto the magnetic dock and it auto-aligns for charging with no cables required. It’s perfect for environments where the device isn’t actively in use, and with MultiDock Sync, it can even sync to a computer via USB for updates or device management.
STATION
Use While Temporarily Connected
Station Mode allows the iPad to be temporarily mounted and actively used while charging wirelessly through precision-aligned magnetic contacts. With optional locking features and connectivity to network or USB peripherals, it’s ideal for shared, high-use environments where flexibility and functionality are both essential.
MOUNT
Use while Permanently Connected
Mount Mode is for permanently installing an iPad in a fixed location where it’s always available, always charging, and always connected. Ideal for dedicated-use scenarios, it enables continuous operation with support for hardwired power, network, and USB peripheral integration.
